You see me here sipping a cup of coffee drug to see what all the frothy fuss is about and to give the (correct) impression of a connoisseur of fine works of art, ready to guide you through a gallery of contemporary images framing this week’s weather through the lens of one dog’s camera.

I call this one Storm clouds over Hardewijk with Red Buoy. A jolly scene, bringing relief to the owners of parched allotments. There were some windsurfers about on the water, and quite possibly more in the cafes.

Here we have Storm Clouds over a bit next to Hardewijk, without Red Buoy. See above. Note the sandbagged clouds, barely able to stay airborne, scudding in the manner of 10-tonne trucks across the water.

Imaged artistically from inside the boat, here we have Stormy Weather outside Baarn. Clouds, wind and water all running enthusiastically from right to left as the viewer stays sensibly under cover.

In complete contrast, here we have Stormy Weather outside Baarn, with Bicycles. If you look carefully, the bikes appear as waterfowl looking back at the viewer. So don’t.

My final work is titled ‘Engels Angled’, or a tilted english person. Since the wind does not photograph well, we must content ourselves with observing its effects. Clearly this engels is having a splendid time.
